Laura Hannemann

Laura Hannemann, Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs, is a graduate of Kenyon College in Gambier, OH, where she studied Political Science.

Laura previously worked for the University of California, San Francisco as the Assistant Advisor and SEVIS Coordinator in the International Students and Scholars Office. While at UCSF, she was responsible for managing the immigration status of UCSF scholars as well as UCSF reporting to the national SEVIS database. Prior to that, Laura was a Communications Intern for the International Museum of Women, where she designed and implemented a blogger outreach campaign and launched an updated social media program.

Laura’s educational background is in the philosophy of social responsibility, which has fed her avid interest in the sustainability movement. Additionally, she was drawn to Presidio Graduate School’s position at the intersection of the public, private and non-profit sectors. This position is particularly critical for an educational institution; the world needs leaders who understand the broader system in which their solutions exist. Laura finds it a joy to be part of an organization that is developing the educational innovations necessary to create the solutions we need now.

Hailing from Massachusetts, Laura takes full advantage of the west coast opportunities by walking, hiking and running the California coastline.
