Laura Hobson, Student Affairs Manager

Laura Hobson, Student Affairs Manager, was drawn to Presidio Graduate School because of its sustainability mission, commitment to students and alumni and open opportunities for department growth.

Laura received her degree in Recreation Administration with a concentration in Special Events and Sports Management from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. While obtaining her degree, Laura worked for the school’s Student Life and Leadership Department as the Administrative Manager for the AmeriCorps program. Following that, she interned with UC Berkeley’s Recreational Sports Facility’s Marketing Department, where she assisted with the planning and implementation of the Department’s major events and all marketing-related programming and initiatives. Just before coming to Presidio, she was the Customer Service Coordinator for the Bay to Breakers 12k Race.

Laura’s unwavering positive attitude and organizational skills have served her well in her role at Presidio. As Student Affairs Manager, she works directly with Presidio’s student representatives, club leaders and current student body to develop student life and career service programming and services necessary to ensure the success of the students.
