Nayelli Gonzalez, MBA 2010

Nayelli Gonzalez is a 2010 Presidio MBA alumna currently serving as a Senior Strategist for Saatchi & Saatchi S, a full service consulting firm focused on "activating companies for good" by helping them to shape and expand their CSR, sustainability, citizenship and social good initiatives. At Saatchi & Saatchi S, Nayelli’s work fits nicely at the intersection of sustainable business and creativity; every day she's thrilled to be able to leverage her love of storytelling and passion for social change and sustainability at work.

When asked about the value of her Presidio experience to her career, Nayelli shares, “I learned everything I ever wanted to learn about sustainable business at Presidio – from how to understand a business’s everyday operations to how to build a financial model – it has been of great value.”

Nayelli also admits that it is not just the strength of the curriculum that sets Presidio apart from other business schools, but also the people in the seats, in front of the classroom and behind the scenes. “Presidio people ‘get it’ – it's a community of people with heart, soul and smarts who want to make the world a better place through business.”

Nayelli spent her undergraduate years at Boston University and collected two degrees along the way: a BS in Journalism and Communication and a BA in History. Not long after finishing her work in the northeast, she headed back to California, this time to Stanford University, where she received her MA in Education.

After spending time with Women’s Initiative, Rossmann and Moore, LLP, and as a water sustainability writer and green business marketing associate, Nayelli came to Presidio to learn how to create social and environmental change from within corporations.

Hailing from LA but now happily residing in San Francisco, Nayelli spends her free time blogging, painting and (with equal sensory delight) swooning over local culinary delights or relishing the cadence of a beautiful sentence.
