Three Presidio alumni are Echoing Green Semifinalists!

Congratulations to Rudi Anthony (C11) and Shehreen Johnson (C11) for their work with People Powered Savings and to David Jay (C9) for success with The Journal Lab.

People Powered Savings harnesses the power of online communities and group savings to mobilize capital for the financially underserved. The online portal connects people who want to save together and enables the collection and transfer of money between group members.

The Journal Lab accelerates scientific communication by helping researchers quickly absorb and discuss published research from top tier journals. Journal Lab is spearheaded Robert Judson, a PhD candidate in stem cell biology at UCSF, and by David Jay, an online collaboration strategist and web developer.

Out of 3,508 applicants, only the top 10% were invited to the semifinalist round. We are proud of our PGS social entrepreneurs as they launch new organizations that deliver bold, high-impact solutions to today’s most complex problems. Congratulations Rudi, Shehreen and David!
